Bridge Deck Replacement on Route 15 22 and 34 in various towns in Connecticut

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing bridge deck replacements for various bridges in Greenwich, North Branford, Stratford, Milford, Derby and Trumbull as a follow up to pavement preservation which excluded bridges. This work will take place on Route 15, 22, and 34 starting on Monday, June 22, 2026.

This project ensures the bridges remain in a state of good repair.

Locations included:

• Exit 3 Route 15 (Bridge Nos. 00693, 00694 and 05653)
• Exit 37 Route 15 - Milford Parkway (Bridge No. 00762)
• Exit 36 Route 15 (Bridge Nos. 00760 and 00761)
• Exit 34 Route 15/ Route 8 Southbound (Bridge No. 05293)
• Route 22 (Bridge Nos. 02215, 02216, and 02217)
• Route 34 (Bridge Nos. 00945 and 02268)

The work is being performed by Hammonasset Construction.

LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures at the following locations starting Monday, June 22, 2026

• Route 15 between Exit 4 and the New York State Line in Greenwich | 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Monday - Friday
• Route 15 Exit 33 to Exit 38 in Milford, Stratford, and Trumbull | 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Monday - Friday
• Route 15 from Exit 33 to Exit 38 in Milford, Stratford, and Trumbull | 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., Monday through Friday.
• Route 22 in North Branford | 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday - Friday.
• Route 34 in Derby and Seymour | 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday - Friday.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
