WHAT: Renovation Aloha
WHERE/WHEN: Premieres Tuesday, February 18, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HGTV
WHO: Husband-and-wife renovation duo Tristyn and Kamohai Kalama will take their Hawaiian house flipping business to the next level in season two of the hit HGTV series Renovation Aloha. Throughout the 10-episode season, the Kalamas, who were born and raised on the island of Oahu, will encounter a host of high-pressure challenges from black mold and break-ins to crumbling foundations, all while tackling a new set of dilapidated properties on the island including their most expensive project ever and their first project on the Big Island of Hawaii. In each episode, they'll rely on the support of their large extended family, including 87 first cousins, to revitalize some of the gnarliest houses in Hawaii into beautiful family homes for generations to come.
In the season opener, Tristyn and Kamohai will purchase an abandoned 1950's home sight unseen with plans to renovate the property in 12 weeks. Upon inspection, they discover the roof and floor will need extensive repairs, and they will need to remove a slew of junk cars strewn across the property. While racing against their 12-week deadline, the Kalamas learn a duplex they renovated in the same neighborhood fell out of escrow, which will cost them thousands in profit as they find a new buyer.
Renovation Aloha is produced by Fields Entertainment.
