MYR Group Subsidiaries Achieve NECA Safety Excellence and Zero Injury Recognition May 27, 2026

NINE DISTRICTS RECOGNIZED FOR SAFETY EXCELLENCE, THREE DISTRICTS ACHIEVE ZERO INJURY STATUS

MYR Group's culture is built on the prioritization of safety as a core value. For the past seven years, the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) has honored companies with stellar safety records through its Safety Excellence Awards - and this year, we are proud to share that many of our teams have been recognized.

Four of our NECA-member subsidiaries - Sturgeon Electric Company, Sturgeon Electric California, The L.E. Myers Co., and Harlan Electric Company- were recognized for their outstanding performance of safety excellence and achieving zero injuries.

Within these MYR Group companies, six districts attained Recognition of Achievement in Safety Excellence, and three districts were awarded Recognition of Achievement of Zero Injury for their performance in 2025.

Achieving both Safety Excellence and Zero Injury status reflects our company-wide dedication and concerted efforts across all districts. Our experienced foremen, reliable workforce, and proactive safety department work together to maintain procedural integrity and ensure company-wide adherence to safety standards.

NECA's safety performance recognition program stands as a prestigious acknowledgment, spotlighting companies with exceptional safety and health programs. Member companies maintaining consistently low OSHA recordable injury and fatality rates, paired with internal safety practices exceeding basic compliance, often earn this esteemed recognition.
