MEDIA ADVISORY: STATE WORKFORCE INVESTMENT BOARD MEETING

WHAT: The State Workforce Investment Board (SWIB) will convene in Albany, Hicksville, New York City, Rochester, Syracuse, and Utica. The SWIB is responsible for overseeing workforce development initiatives under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). Its primary mission is to promote talent development, support a unified workforce system, and address the needs of both businesses and individuals. The meeting is open to the public in-person or via livestream.
