Notice About Paper Utility Bills
Cary has resumed mailing paper utility bills/communications to its customers. Customers may experience a delay in receiving their paper bills by mail and may even receive multiple bills within a few days of receipt. Bills are still being generated, and customers can access their online bill and make a payment anytime at carync.gov/digipay. While we work to return to regular mailing operations, Cary is waiving late fees for those impacted and paused service disconnections. Contact Cary 311 with questions.

Lewey Drive Utilities and Street Improvement Project
Starting Tuesday, June 10, crews will begin the Lewey Drive Utilities and Street Improvements Project - a major effort to boost water system reliability in southern Cary. Work includes installing over 5,800 feet of new watermains, boring under NC 55, and adding 650 feet of sidewalk. Expect lane closures on Fryar Creek Drive (between Lewey Drive and Park York Lane) starting at 7 a.m., with flaggers managing alternating traffic. Access to homes, the Brookstone pool, and emergency services will be maintained. Normal traffic flow will be restored at the end of each workday. The project is expected to continue for approximately 18 months, with updates shared as work progresses. More information can be found on Cary's Water Projects webpage.
