Student speakers from across disciplines shared powerful reflections on their journeys and the meaningful impact of scholarship support.
PharmD, MBA and MSPH candidate Quanshaul Vinson spoke about the profound encouragement he has received throughout his time at Campbell, noting, "Each dollar that you have given is more than just a dollar. Each dollar is a dream for the students of CPHS, a spark that lights the path toward our goals. Each dollar is an opportunity to touch lives, to inspire hope, and to indirectly uplift entire communities in need. Your generosity does more than support education, it builds futures, strengthens communities, and reminds us that one act of giving can create ripples that reach far beyond what we can see."
Representing the nursing program, Mónica González-Garro shared how her personal experiences shaped her calling to healthcare and emphasized the significance of scholarship support, saying, "This support is not just financial, it is a source of stability, encouragement, and belief in my future. Because of you, I am able to continue this journey and stay focused on my goal of making a meaningful impact in healthcare."
Physician Assistant student Lillian Guidi reflected on how scholarship funding has expanded her educational and service opportunities, including participating in a medical mission trip abroad. She expressed her appreciation, stating, "I am deeply grateful for all the resources that have been provided to me through Campbell's program, and I hope to one day be able to provide future students with the same support and opportunities that I have received due to the gracious donations that you all as donors have provided."
Taylor Murphy, director of advancement for CPHS, emphasized the lasting impact of donor generosity and the importance of continued support. "Scholarships are life changing for our students. They open doors, reduce financial burdens, and allow students to fully pursue their calling in healthcare. We are incredibly grateful to our donors whose generosity makes these opportunities possible and continues to shape the future of healthcare through our students."
The ceremony served as a powerful reminder of the strong community that defines CPHS, where donors, faculty, and students come together with a shared commitment to excellence, service, and improving health outcomes for communities near and far.
