Handcraft Entertainment Signs Shuzo To Global 360 Partnership, Announces Worldwide Co-Management Partnership With Evan Baker

Tokyo-Based DJ, Artist And Global Fashion Figure With 10m+ Social Followers Joins Handcraft's Growing Roster As Company Continues Global J-Pop Expansion, With Evan Baker Co-Managing Worldwide

(Tue, Aug 25) Today, Handcraft Entertainment announces the signing of Tokyo-based DJ, artist, and model SHUZO to an exclusive global 360 partnership. As part of the agreement, Handcraft has partnered with Silqscreen, a venture founded by acclaimed artist manager Evan Baker, to co-manage SHUZO worldwide.

Together, Handcraft and Silqscreen will work to expand SHUZO's presence across music, live entertainment, brand partnerships, and original creative ventures, bringing his artistry to audiences around the world.

At just 25 years old, Forbes JAPAN "30 Under 30" honoree SHUZO is one of Japan's most recognizable figures at the intersection of music, fashion, nightlife, and digital culture. With over 10 million followers across social media, he has graced the editorial pages of Vogue Japan and Harper's BAZAAR Japan, collaborated with luxury houses including Dior, Givenchy, and Louis Vuitton, and appeared in television productions for major streaming platforms. As both an international runway figure and a sought-after DJ spinning for global fashion events, he has established himself at the center of Tokyo's electronic music scene.

"SHUZO embodies everything we look for in a truly global artist, " said Michael Africk, Founder and CEO of Handcraft Entertainment. "He moves seamlessly across music, fashion and culture, has built an extraordinary connection with millions of fans, and already thinks beyond borders. We see an enormous opportunity to grow what he has already created and take his career to an entirely new level globally. Having Evan alongside us, with his incredible experience building some of the world's most important electronic artists, makes this partnership even more exciting."

"I'm incredibly grateful to Michael and his team at Handcraft and to Evan for believing in me and supporting me as I take this next step," said SHUZO. "Over the past few years, my experiences across music, fashion and entertainment have shaped who I am as an artist and deepened my passion for music and DJing. Now I'm excited to take that path further, continue developing my sound and creative vision, and share it with audiences around the world. Music has no borders. It has the power to connect people across cultures and bring us together, and I hope my music can be part of that connection. I'm excited for what's ahead."

SHUZO is currently preparing his first project under the new partnership, with additional announcements expected in the coming months.

The announcement builds on a year of significant momentum for Handcraft Entertainment as the company continues executing its vision for "Global" J-Pop. Earlier this year, the company launched Mia Takarabe's debut single "Heartless" with Steve Aoki and announced a strategic partnership with Takasago International Corporation, Japan's leading fragrance and flavor company, to develop artist-driven fragrances and experiences. SHUZO marks another milestone in Handcraft's mission to build globally-minded Japanese talent across music, fashion, entertainment, and culture.
