Runners of all skill levels are invited to take part in the Camino De Los Muertos Trail Run, to benefit Friends of LLELA, on Saturday, Nov. 1, starting at 6 a.m., at Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area, 201 E. Jones Street.
Trail runners will experience shady, deep forests with wildlife, open prairies with wildflowers, and mysterious wetlands with exotic birds. All while running along the Elm Fork and over creeks on wide, well-marked trails, accompanied by bird song, cool breezes, and clean air.
All are welcome to participate, whether for the thrill of competing with other trail runners or simply to be enticed by fresh air and beautiful sights at a slower pace. All runners receive a super-soft custom race shirt (if registered by Oct. 3), a finisher's medal, and other cool swag.
