Nighttime Lane Closures at Garrity Interchange in Nampa begin Friday

NAMPA - The Idaho Transportation Department will have nighttime lane closures on Garrity Boulevard from Friday, Oct. 2 until Thursday, Oct. 8 as crews repave the roadway under Interstate 84 at the Garrity Interchange (Exit 38).

What to expect:

• One lane of traffic in each direction will remain open at all times.
• Flaggers will direct access to the interchange ramps.
• Work will occur weeknights between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.
• Weekend times will vary:
• • Friday night 9 p.m. - 8 a.m.
  • Saturday night 9 p.m. - 9 a.m.
  • Sunday night 9 p.m. - 5 a.m.

This work is in addition to the already completed waterline repair that took place earlier this summer.

This project is part of ITD's ongoing priority to maintain Idaho's existing transportation system. Regular maintenance helps pavement reach its full lifespan. Preservation work protects and extends the life of the roadway, delaying the need for full replacement.
