Montgomery to Celebrate Regency Park Community Center Re‑opening

The City of Montgomery Parks & Recreation Department announced the grand re-opening of the Regency Park Community Center, inviting residents of all ages to celebrate the completion of major facility upgrades. The ribbon cutting ceremony will be held Wednesday, May 27, at 11 a.m. at 5995 Christy Lane, with the public encouraged to attend.

The event will feature remarks from Mayor Steven L. Reed and members of the Montgomery City Council, followed by an official ribbon cutting and guided tours showcasing the center's transformation.

The community center has undergone extensive renovations designed to meet the evolving needs of children, teens, adults, and seniors. Major improvements include a renovated gymnasium, a modern Esports and computer lab equipped with up-to-date technology, and enhanced security systems that support a more welcoming and inclusive environment.

As one of Montgomery's key gathering spaces, the upgraded Regency Park Community Center is now better equipped than ever to serve residents and support community programming. Officials say the improvements reflect an ongoing commitment to expanding recreational opportunities and strengthening neighborhood resources.

Community members are invited to attend the celebration and experience the updates firsthand.
