Los Angeles Business Journal Names Jennie Wang VonCannon to the 2026 Women of Influence: Attorneys

Los Angeles - May 18, 2026: The Los Angeles Business Journal has named Crowell & Moring partner Jennie Wang VonCannon to its 2026 Women of Influence: Attorneys list.

The list honors women attorneys in Los Angeles who "have been recognized for exceptional legal skill and achievement across the full spectrum of responsibility, exemplary leadership as evidenced by the highest professional and ethical standards, and for contributions to the Los Angeles community at large."

VonCannon is a technology trial lawyer and advisor with over two decades of experience in both criminal and civil corporate defense, cybersecurity and data misuse, and intellectual property matters. As a partner in Crowell's White Collar and Regulatory Enforcement and Privacy and Cybersecurity groups, she helps clients with litigation, internal investigations, law enforcement and regulatory inquiries and subpoenas, AI governance, and cybersecurity and privacy incidents.

VonCannon previously served for over eleven years as a federal prosecutor, culminating in her role as Deputy Chief of the Cyber and Intellectual Property Crimes Section of the National Security Division of the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Central District of California. Beyond her practice, she is a founding member and former chair of the Los Angeles County Bar Association Privacy and Cybersecurity Section, and President-Elect and life member of the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles. She serves on the Merit Selection Panel for the Central District of California and is a member of the Chancery Club of Los Angeles.
