Arrest Made in Parking Dispute Incident
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE January 14, 2025 (Mount Vernon, NY) - On January 13, 2025, at approximately 10:31 PM, the Mount Vernon Police Department responded to a physical altercation in
front of 100 North Columbus Avenue. The incident reportedly stemmed from a dispute over a parking space and involved at least four individuals. Two males sustained non-life-threatening injuries
during the altercation and were treated and released from Jacobi Medical Center. There are no reports of any stabbings at this time. A female suspect was arrested at the scene and charged with
Assault in the 3rd Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. The Mount Vernon Police Department is actively investigating this incident and will provide updates as new information becomes
