Don’t Forget to Vote! The Primary Election is Tuesday, June 2



NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ (May 30, 2026) - The Primary Election will take place on Tuesday, June 2. There are three ways to vote.

If you have requested and received a mail-in ballot, you can choose one of these options to return the ballot:

Mail-In Ballot

  • Mail your ballot through the United States Postal Service by 8 p.m. on June 2 to ensure it is postmarked on or before Election Day, June 2, 2026. Please note that Mail in Ballots must be received by the Middlesex County Board of Elections no later than June 8 to be counted.
  • Drop your ballot in a designated Middlesex County Board of Elections' drop box by 8 p.m. on Election Day, June 2.

Early Voting

In-person early voting is currently taking place through Sunday, May 31. Hours are Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Early voting is available at the New Brunswick Hub Teen Center, 411 Joyce Kilmer Ave.


On Election Day

Registered voters may vote in person on Election Day, June 2, at their assigned polling location. Polling locations will be open from 6 am-8 pm.
