(Geneva/Brussels) - The International Trade Centre (ITC) today launched a revamped version of Trade Map - its flagship tool featuring global trade data and market trends - now offering businesses and policymakers easier access to actionable market intelligence at a time of major shifts in the trade landscape.
Trade Map 3.0 - updated with automatic data alert features and personalized workspaces - offers users a faster, more intuitive and customizable way to explore the data, enabling users to explore global trade trends through interactive charts, maps and tables; build and compare tailored product and market groups that they can save and revisit for analyses; and soon, receive alerts on evolving market developments, all within a streamlined interface.
Covering over 230 economies and more than 5,300 products, Trade Map has enabled decision-makers to translate global trade data into actionable insights over the past 18 years. The revamped platform makes it easier to analyse export performance, identify high-growth markets, benchmark competitors and uncover new trade opportunities.
In today's rapidly evolving global economy, marked by shifting trade policies, supply chain disruptions and growing competition, access to timely and reliable market intelligence is critical. Trade Map enables businesses, including small and medium-sized enterprises, to pinpoint high potential markets, adapt sourcing strategies and navigate uncertainty with data-driven insights.
ITC Executive Director Pamela Coke-Hamilton said: 'At a time when global trade is becoming more complex, decision-makers need clarity, not just data. The new Trade Map is designed to turn information into practical insights, helping businesses and policymakers - in particular those in developing countries - anticipate shifts, manage risks and make informed decisions.'
Jozef Síkela, European Commissioner for International Partnerships, said: 'Open and rules-based trade depends not only on access to markets, but on access to reliable and usable information. By supporting tools like Trade Map 3.0, the European Union is helping level the playing field by enabling businesses, particularly in developing economies, to better understand global trends, manage risks and identify new opportunities. Through our Global Gateway strategy, we are investing in stronger trade ecosystems with our partners, so that better information can translate into real economic growth.'

Trade Map is part of ITC's broader suite of Market Analysis Tools, used by over two million users worldwide to support trade development, business growth and policy formulation. The upgrade is part of ITC's ongoing efforts, supported by the European Union and other partners, to enhance digital tools that drive inclusive and sustainable trade.
