Beijing Daxing Airport Sees 10 Million Cross-Border Trips Since Launching International Flights

Beijing Daxing International Airport recently witnessed a historic moment - with the total number of inbound and outbound trips surpassing 10 million since the launch of international routes in October 2019.

Beijing Daxing Airport has seen a rapid surge in cross-border trips since the resumption of international passenger flights, fueled by a series of policies from the National Immigration Administration to facilitate foreign nationals coming to China, enhanced functions of Beijing as a global exchange hub, and optimized international flight schedules, with foreign traveler trips exceeding 2.2 million - including over 560,000 trips under visa-free or temporary entry permits, representing approximately 25% of all foreign trips through the port.

As of now in 2025, the number of inbound and outbound trips at Daxing International Airport has exceeded 3.12 million, with the proportion of inbound foreign nationals rising monthly from 21% in January to 28% in June- an increase of 7 percentage points.
