Beginning Monday, June 15, 2026, the intersection of State Route 752 and Walnut Creek Pike will be converted to an all-way stop. This change will remain in place until a future project constructs a roundabout at this location. Currently, only traffic on Walnut Creek Pike is required to stop before entering or crossing SR 752.
Between 2023 and 2025, 22 crashes were reported at this location. Of the 22 crashes, 21 were angle (T-bone) crashes, primarily resulting from vehicles on Walnut Creek Pike failing to yield to traffic on SR 752.
Motorists will be notified of the upcoming changes through signage placed along both SR 752 and Walnut Creek Pike.
Across Ohio, the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is reviewing intersections to identify locations where an all-way stop may improve safety. Sites selected for conversion are typically those where crash data shows frequent failure to stop or failure to yield crashes.
This all-way stop will serve as an interim safety measure while ODOT continues planning for a future roundabout at this intersection. The roundabout project is currently in design, with construction tentatively planned to begin in 2029. To learn more about the project, visit the project website.
