NYU alumni Rachel Sennott and Bowen Yang announce the nominees for the 2025 Academy Awards.
Eleven members of the NYU community received 14 nominations for the 97th Annual Academy Awards, including three for Best Picture and three in the top acting categories. The nominees represent Gallatin, Tisch, Law, and Steinhardt. Tisch School of the Arts alum Sean Baker scored three nominations-for Directing, Film Editing, and Best Picture-for his work on Anora.
