Lanes to Close on East 31st Street between South Peoria and South Lewis Avenues Beginning Thursday

Beginning on Thursday, June 18, lanes will narrow along East 31st Street between South Peoria and South Lewis Avenues for an in-depth pavement maintenance project.
The project consists of patching concrete panels where needed under the surface of the road and then repaving the areas with new concrete. During the work, lanes will be narrowed to one way in each direction.
The City of Tulsa has contracted with R&L Construction LLC for this $644,000 project funded through the Improve Our Tulsa sales tax. The project is anticipated to take three months to complete.
While maintenance is ongoing, drivers are encouraged to follow posted detour signage, use caution in the area, and allow extra travel time.
