Marin County - Caltrans is scheduled to continue an emergency culvert replacement, sinkhole, and pavement repair project on State Route 1 (Shoreline Highway) in the Muir Beach area in September. The project is needed because of storm-related issues that occurred early in the year.

One-way traffic control will be utilized on SR-1 from Monday, Sept. 23 through Friday, Sept. 27 from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day.

The project is expected to last about two more weeks.

Please drive with caution. Slow for the Cone Zone and Be Work Zone Alert. Caltrans thanks motorists for their patience while we work to maintain our state's highways, bridges, and tunnels.
