Kyle MacKinnon, senior director of operational excellence at Premier, says key shipping routes for medical devices and pharmaceuticals remain operational, while Mark Hendrickson, director of supply chain policy at Premier, notes the industry has not yet seen significant disruptions and many manufacturers maintain safety stock. Both advise providers to monitor developments but avoid accelerating purchases, which could unintentionally create artificial shortages.
