Essington Road Resurfacing Underway Between Black Road and Ingalls Avenue
JOLIET, Ill. - Resurfacing work is underway on Essington Road from Black Road to just north of Ingalls Avenue.
The project includes replacing damaged sidewalk, curb and gutter, followed by asphalt grinding and resurfacing. Asphalt work is expected during the third or fourth week of October, with the full project anticipated to be complete by the end of the month.
Outer lanes may be closed while sidewalk and curb work is underway. Motorists are encouraged to use caution and allow additional time when traveling through the area.
