- Casework with Federal Agencies
We're still opening and managing casework for Social Security, the VA, Medicare, the IRS, and other agencies. Some departments are slowed by furloughs, but we'll stay on your case and push for updates as soon as systems come back online.
Even if the agency is affected, we can still intake the case and submit it. It may be a slower response due to backlogs while they're shut down, but we can still submit the inquiry to be addressed as soon as it is back on.
- Veterans Services
If you're having issues with benefits, claims, or accessing care, we can advocate on your behalf and track your case.
- Passport and Immigration Inquiries
Most passport and immigration services are still running. If you're facing delays or need guidance, we can help you navigate the process.
- Student Aid Issues
Federal student loans and Pell Grants are still being processed. If something goes wrong, we can help get answers.
- Emergency Assistance or Questions
We're here to help. If you're unsure how the shutdown affects your situation, reach out.
These are federal services that do not shut down or are currently funded despite the lapse:
- U.S. Postal Service - Mail is still being delivered.
- VA Medical Centers - Clinics and hospitals remain open.
- Social Security & Medicare Payments - Benefits continue, but some new applications or services may be delayed.
- Air Travel - TSA and air traffic controllers are still on the job.
- Military Operations - Active-duty personnel continue their duties, though pay may be delayed.
- FEMA Emergency Response - Still active for ongoing disaster relief.
- USCIS Immigration Services - Most operations continue, as they are fee-funded.
- Student Loans & Pell Grants - Still being processed.
