Press Release on the Tragic Death of a Nepali National in Abu Dhabi
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of Nepal, is deeply shocked and saddened to learn about the tragic death of an innocent Nepali national in an attack at Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates as informed by the UAE authorities concerned, today.
The Ministry reiterates that all parties concerned must ensure the safety, security and protection of civilians during active hostilities.
The Ministry further emphasizes that the provisions of the respective Geneva Conventions and international humanitarian law must be respected and fully adhered to at all times.
The Ministry expresses its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and assures of its firm commitment to extendall possible support, including the repatriation of the mortal remains of the deceased.
