Waynesburg U. Admissions Office to host Open House Events and Information Sessions for Prospective Students

Waynesburg University's Admissions Office invites prospective students and their families to experience campus firsthand during its upcoming Open House events. These events will be held Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025; Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025; and Saturday, April 18, 2026, with each session running from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The schedule and format will remain consistent across all three Open House events:

9:30 a.m. Registration: Enjoy light refreshments as you arrive. Roberts Chapel
10 a.m.

Welcome:

10:15 a.m. Walking Campus Tour: Spend time exploring the highlights of our campus and visiting our resident halls. Tour leaves from Roberts Chapel
11:15 a.m. Admissions & Financial Aid Presentation: Learn more about the admissions process and scholarships available to first-time freshman students. Roberts Chapel
11:45 a.m. Student Organization Fair: Discover more about student life on campus. Roberts Chapel
12:15 p.m. Lunch & Survey: Enjoy lunch in our dining hall with other visiting families. Sign up to attend optional activities after lunch. Submit your survey and receive a free gift! Benedum Dining Hall
1 p.m. Academic Fair: Meet with faculty members in your majors of interest. Alumni Hall
1:30 p.m.

Optional Activities:

  • Shop at The Nest, our campus store (84 Wayne St.)
  • Tour the eHIVE
  • Tour the Criminal Justice simulations
  • Tour the Esports arena
  • Talk with coaches

  • For those unable to attend an Open House, the Admissions Office will also host Saturday Information Sessionsfrom 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.on Dec. 13, 2025; Jan. 17, 2026; and March 21, 2026. These smaller sessions provide another opportunity to learn about Waynesburg's academic programs, meet Admissions staff and explore campus.

WU Visit Grant

The WU Visit Grant is a four-year renewable grant of $1,000 per academic year ($4,000 total), and is awarded to full-time, undergraduate students that file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) annually. Both resident and non-resident students are eligible.

High school juniors and seniors and transfer students who attend an in-person Waynesburg University campus visit qualify for the WU Visit Grant.

To qualify for the upcoming Fall 2026 semester, incoming students must visit campus no later than March 1, 2026.

*Virtual Visits do not count toward WU Visit Grant eligibility. Students must attend an in-person Waynesburg University campus visit to qualify.
