Maxar honored as a “2025 Best Place to Work” in Colorado and Wash...

Maxar Intelligence is proud to announce that we've been recognized by BuiltIn as a "2025 Best Place to Work" in Colorado and Washington, D.C. Specifically, Maxar was named to BuiltIn's "Top 100 Best Large Places to Work" lists for Washington, D.C., and Colorado, as well as the "100 Best Places to Work" list for Washington, D.C.

Winners are selected based on a data-driven analysis of their compensation and benefits offerings. To reflect the benefits candidates are searching for more frequently on BuiltIn, the algorithm also weighs criteria like remote and flexible work opportunities, programs for diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), and other people-first cultural offerings. Maxar provided salary data and a listing of our benefits offering to support our submission and the subsequent analysis.

"Our recognition as a Best Place to Work in Colorado and Washington, D.C., is a reflection of the culture we're continuously working to evolve and build here at Maxar-a high-performance culture where people feel empowered to shape their own future," said Anat Gan Eden, Chief Human Resources Officer at Maxar Intelligence. "We want to attract and retain talented individuals who can help us deliver on an ambitious vision for the geospatial industry and who are hungry to make a real impact on the world. To do that, we've prioritized providing a complete total rewards package, building a feedback-rich culture, and advancing diversity, inclusion and belonging through our Employee Resource Groups."

To build our high-performance culture, we've focused on several key priorities, including a:

  • Robust total rewards package: Our total rewards package is designed to support the health, well-being, and success of our employees, offering competitive compensation, hybrid work arrangements, and comprehensive benefits that support holistic well-being.
  • Sustained commitment to our core values and a feedback-rich culture: Guided by our core values-Customer Mission First, Relentless Focus on Results, Unwavering Integrity, Inclusive Teamwork and Fearlessly Blaze Trails-we've built a culture that empowers team members to push boundaries, increase ownership and make bold decisions. With a twice-yearly engagement survey and pulse check-in, we ensure everyone's voice is heard as we continue to further evolve our culture.
  • Focus on driving inclusivity across our business: Our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) play a vital role in creating a sense of belonging, fostering diversity, and celebrating the unique perspectives that drive innovation. These peer-led groups help build community and space for connection and support through educational opportunities, team building events and more. Maxar currently has seven ERGs: Black and African Americans at Maxar, Maxar Disability and Neurodiversity Network, Maxar Veterans Network, Maxar Women's Network, MaxPride, Somos Maxar, and Together Against Cancer.
