Calaveras County

One-Way Traffic Control Next Week

Calaveras County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control next week on State Route 26 (SR-26) and SR-49 for maintenance and construction operations. Work to occur as follows:

State Route 26

  • Long-term, one-way traffic control from Gill Haven Drive to Rich Gulch Lane for highway construction work through Wednesday, December 31, 2025.
  • One-way traffic control from Josephine Lane to Nichols Road for utility work on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control at Barney Way for utility work on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

State Route 49

  • One-way traffic control at Spring Hills Road Lane for utility work beginning Sunday, April 20, 2025, through Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Main Street to Stockton Hill Road for utility work on Monday, April 21, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
