Intersection Improvements Continue on Route 34/51 in Bollinger County…

SIKESTON- The south intersection of Route 34/51 in Marble Hill, Missouri will be reduced to one lane with an 11-foot width restriction as contractor crews continue intersection improvements.

Weather permitting, work is anticipated to be completed by Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026. A signed detour will be in place.

The project includes upgrading the existing Route 34/51 intersection to improve turning movements for tractor trailers and other large vehicles. This will be accomplished by widening and increasing some of the radiuses at the existing intersection.

The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
