The City of Sun Prairie Common Council is soliciting applications for appointment to fill a vacancy, representing residents located in the 1st District, Wards 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7. The appointment will be for the time period from appointment until the next scheduled spring election. It is expected that the individual appointed will seek candidacy for the elected office being held in a spring election on April 7, 2026. The successful candidate elected will complete the term ending April 20, 2026.
To seek appointment, please complete the "Letter of Intent to Serve on Common Council" available online at www.cityofsunprairie.com/CandidateInformation or from the City Clerk and submit to the City Clerk by no later than 12 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.
