Industry Encouraged to Share Boating Safety Resources Ahead of Labor Day Weekend
As Labor Day weekend approaches, NMMA is encouraging members and industry stakeholders to help reinforce safe and responsible boating practices with customers preparing to spend time on the water.
The holiday weekend is one of the major boating moments of the summer season, making it an important opportunity to connect boaters with practical safety reminders and trusted educational resources. Members can help amplify key messages around wearing a life jacket, checking the weather, operating sober, filing a float plan, reviewing local navigation rules and being prepared before leaving the dock.
Discover Boating, powered by NMMA and MRAA, offers consumer-friendly safety articles, tips and video resources designed to help new and experienced boaters feel more confident and prepared. This year, Discover Boating and Progressive InsuranceĀ® also launched a new safe boating video series featuring short-form content that makes important safety guidance accessible, engaging and easy to share.
