MLGW and UPA meter readers will be out on Saturday, October 24

Memphis Light, Gas and Water and UPA meter readers will conduct meter readings on Saturday, October 24, in the following areas and surrounding neighborhoods:

· Ridgeway Road and Poplar Avenue

· Winchester Road and Mendenhall Road

· Kirby Parkway and Quince Road

· Germantown Road and Poplar Pike

Meter readings are typically done on weekdays, but occasional Saturday readings help prevent extended billing cycles.

To ensure accurate readings and avoid estimated bills, customers are asked to make sure meter readers have clear access to their meters. If a meter is behind a locked gate, please ensure it is unlocked and secure any pets during this time.

Authorized meter readers will always carry MLGW badges identifying themselves as utility employees.
