GREENSBORO, NC (May 29, 2026) - Greensboro Police arrested a former Caldwell Academy teacher Thursday after an investigation into reports he had an inappropriate personal relationship with a student last year.
A report filed with the Greensboro Police Department on April 9, 2026, led to a comprehensive investigation by the department's Family Victims Unit. As a result of that investigation, Michael Roberts Bozmarov, 31, was charged with one count of felony indecent liberties with a student (NCGS 14-202.4 (A)) and in accordance with the North Carolina Protect Our Students Act of 2023.
After his arrest, Bozmarov was taken to the Guilford County Jail. He had his first appearance in court Friday, when a judge set a secured bond at $30,000.
