Hard Rock unleashes classic horror icons and return of $10,000 costume contest Oct. 25

TULSA, Okla. - Paying homage to the legends of horror like Dracula, Frankenstein and The Mummy, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa awakens the classics with the return of its annual Halloween party on Saturday, Oct. 25, at 8 p.m. in the Sequoyah Convention Center. The party also features the return of Hard Rock's iconic costume contest, where entrants compete for a share of $10,000 for their most haunting and elaborate costumes.

DJ Queen Jesseen welcomes guests inside the Grand Lobby beginning at 5 p.m. The Sequoyah Convention Center features DJ 2Legit along with a crew of characters and dancers throughout the party. Live music continues throughout the casino, with Riff's featuring DJ Gus at 6 p.m. and Zodiac performing at 8 p.m. DJ Kelevra spins at Amp Bar beginning at 7 p.m., and Track 5. hosts DJ Morgan Ganem at 6 p.m. and Silverado at 8 p.m.

Costume contest registration begins at 8 p.m. Guests must be registered by 11 p.m. to be considered. The first-place winner receives $3,000, second-place winner takes home $2,000, third-place and fourth-place winners are awarded $1,000, and fifth-place through 10th-place winners are awarded $500. Judging begins at 10:30 p.m. Winners are announced at midnight and must be present to win.

All contestants are surveyed prior to the start and informed if they need to remove any part of their costume that may disqualify them. Guests are reminded that costume masks, full-face paint, hats, hoodies and costume weapons are not allowed outside the designated area of the Sequoyah Convention Center. No nudity or implied nudity is allowed. Entrance to the party is free, and guests must be 21 or older.

Hard Rock Tulsa keeps the Halloween festivities going all month with $200,000 Black Cat and Cash where One Star Rewards members can win a share of over $200,000. $10,000 cash will be awarded every Thursday of the month, leading up to the drawing for a 2025 Jaguar® F-Pace at 11 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31, and a cash drawing of $100,000 at 11 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1. To be eligible for the drawings, entrants must have at least one active rated play session or One Star Rewards card swipe at any kiosk within two hours of each drawing. Guests can begin earning entries on Sept. 28, with five times more earnings on Fridays.
