Millersville University of Pennsylvania will host an Academic Exploration Day on Feb. 16, President's Day, for high school students who want to learn about the admissions process and the student experience at Millersville. Additional information and required registration forms are available at https://apply.millersville.edu/portal/acadpresday.
The day includes the opportunity to choose an academic track and sit in on a class, tour facilities, or meet with faculty and students. Many of the tracks also include an admissions information session and campus tour.
Tracks available are art and design; business; chemistry; computer science; criminology, sociology and anthropology; early, middle and elementary education; earth sciences; English and world languages; exploratory studies and student development (undecided); government, law and international business; history and philosophy; music/music education; music industry; and special education.
In addition, several offices on campus will be open with staff available to answer questions. Those include the Office of Financial Aid (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.); University Housing and Conference Services (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.); Honor College (2 to 4 p.m.); Campus Life (11 a.m. to 2 p.m.); Francine G. McNairy Library and Learning Forum (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.); and the University Store (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Registration is not required for these drop-in sessions.
