    Police responded to a business located on the 800 block of Somerville Ave for a shoplifting. A store employee reported that a suspect, identified as Anthony Ramsey, 39, of Cambridge, was observed placing merchandise inside of his suitcase. Ramsey was placed under arrest for 1 count count Shoplifting by concealment. Furthermore, it was also discovered that Ramsey had an active warrant out of Cambridge District Court.

    Police responded to the 800 block on Memorial Drive to investigate a past assault and battery. After speaking with the victim, witness, and reviewing security camera footage, it was concluded that a suspect had intentionally thrown a packet of paper at the victim's face. The suspect was identified and will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court.

    Police took a report from a resident for credit card fraud. It was stated an unknown person had used the victim's credit card for $147 in unauthorized charges.

    Police responded to Rindge Ave at Reed St for a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital for further medical evaluation. The operator of the vehicle was issued a citation.

    During a call for service in Newtowne Court, police interacted with Francisco Mahon, 42, of Cambridge. It was learned that Mahon had two outstanding warrants for his arrest from courts in Cambridge and Revere. Mahon was placed under arrest without incident.

    Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop for an observed violation at the intersection of Massachusetts Ave and Sidney Street. It was discovered that the vehicle registration had been revoked for lack of insurance. The vehicle was towed and the owner will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court.

    Police interacted with Nicholas Toppi, 45, of Waltham after observing him openly drinking alcohol in Central Sq. It was learned that Toppi had a warrant for his arrest out of Waltham District Court. He was taken into custody without incident.
