Local Businesses are Blooming at Hillsboro Markets

Hillsboro markets create opportunities for local entrepreneurs to share their ideas, test their products, and grow their businesses. From food and beverage makers to artisans, farmers, and other small business owners, Hillsboro Farmer's Markets and Hillsboro Tuesday Night Market provide a place for homegrown talent to connect with the community.

Learn about three businesses that have grown with the support of Hillsboro's markets and the customers who show up for them.

Beans to Phin: Saturday Downtown Market

Add caffeine to your trip to the Saturday market with a coffee or matcha from Beans to Phin. Known for authentic Vietnamese coffee and organic matcha drinks, Beans to Phin offers handcrafted beverages that have quickly become a community favorite.

Customize your drink with signature cloud toppings or choose from a variety of specialty creations. Their coffee is made with robust beans sourced directly from Vietnam, delivering the bold, rich flavor Vietnamese coffee is known for.

Founded by Emily Nguyen, her mother, Lily, and her aunt, Eliza, Beans to Phin began as a family dream and has grown into a popular mobile business serving markets and community events.

Customer favorites include crisp salad greens, cucumbers, and zucchini, all grown with care.

You can find Ginger Bug Farm every week at the Saturday Downtown Market and the Orenco Market. If you miss market day, their produce is also available Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 7 pm at the Helvetia Farm Market.

Owner Jeni Kenworthy has more than 20 years of farming experience and has become a familiar face in the Hillsboro community, providing fresh, high-quality produce for community members week after week.
