The City of Tyler is accepting applications for City Boards and Commissions until Monday, Aug. 4. The City Council will make appointments at the meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 10. Those appointed will serve voluntarily and without compensation for two-year terms.
"Boards and Commissions fulfill an important role in City government by evaluating issues that affect our community and making recommendations to the Council for needed action," said City Clerk Cassandra Brager. "It is important that we fill vacancies on the boards."
Anyone interested in serving can complete an application online at CityofTyler.org. Applications are also available for pickup at the City Clerk's Office in City Hall, 212 N. Bonner, Tyler, Texas. Additionally, you can call the City Clerk at (903) 531-1106 to request that an application be faxed or mailed to you. City Board members should generally be residents of Tyler unless otherwise authorized by ordinance. Some board positions may have additional requirements.

Periodic Boards (Boards that meet only as needed)

Construction Board of Adjustments & Appeals
