Maine Building Codes are being Updated

The Maine Uniform Building and Energy Code (MUBEC) will have updates go into effect on April 7, 2025. The codes are required throughout the State and have been adopted for enforcement in the Town of Bar Harbor. Code changes include those for residential, commercial projects and provide direction for construction, ventilation and energy efficiency requirements.
