TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - As Thanksgiving approaches, Florida Commissioner of Agriculture Wilton Simpson is encouraging families to celebrate the holiday with Fresh From Florida ingredients, highlighting the farmers who provide the state's freshest produce, seafood, and dairy.
"Every Thanksgiving plate starts with a farmer," said Commissioner Simpson. "Fresh From Florida makes it easy for families to find locally grown ingredients that are perfect for their holiday meals. This Thanksgiving, we celebrate the farmers who make our food abundant, fresh, and full of flavor."
