Minister Tajani tomorrow at the meeting in Rimini. Europe, Lebanon and the Middle East are on the agenda

Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani will be at the Meeting for Friendship Among Peoples in Rimini tomorrow, where he will visit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Pavilion 'Sowing the future', dedicated to the role of agri-food supply chains as tools for dialogue, development and sustainable growth.

At 12:00 p.m. the Minister will speak, together with the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, at the panel 'Europe. Preserving our roots. Accelerating the future', at the Sala Neri, in the Hall Sud.

At 1:00 p.m., he will participate in the panel discussion 'The hope of re-building in the Land of Cedars,' alongside Carla Jazzar, the Ambassador of Lebanon to Italy, and Mons. César Essayan, the Apostolic Vicar of Beirut.

The 'Sowing the future' area of Italian Cooperation proposes an experiential path dedicated to the relationship between agriculture, food security and sustainable development, with a thematic greenhouse, audiovisual content and works from the Farnesina Collection. The International Pavilion will also host a space created with FAO and the Food and Agriculture Museum and Network (Mune) on good practices for food security and supply chain resilience, as well as an area dedicated to the action of Italian Cooperation in Lebanon, with the exhibition 'The hope to be re-built in the Land of Cedars'.
