Community members invited to attend Budget Town Hall, Feb. 26

(COLUMBIA, MO)- The City of Columbia will host the next two sessions in a series of Budget Town Halls Thursday, Feb. 26. These meetings provide an opportunity for residents to engage in the City's budget process.

The upcoming town hall will focus on budget priorities, where City staff will provide an overview of how decisions are made and discuss key priorities for funding in the City's budget, and will include a budget simulation activity
Sessions will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26 in Conference Rooms 1A/1B in City Hall, 701 E. Broadway. Participants will receive the same information at both sessions.

These interactive events continue to provide an opportunity for community members to gain a deeper understanding of how the City develops its budget, ask questions and participate in activities designed to foster involvement and education.

The town halls are open to all Columbia residents. The City is asking participants to register in advance. Light refreshments will be provided.
