Neighborhood Parking Directed Enforcement Program
The Garland Marshal's Office has implemented a proactive Neighborhood Parking Directed Enforcement Program to promote neighborhood safety and increase compliance with City parking regulations. This initiative supplements complaint-based parking enforcement efforts by assigning deputies to patrol selected neighborhoods across Garland on a scheduled basis.
Currently, directed enforcement is being conducted in the New World Addition neighborhood of District 5 and the Walnut Terrace neighborhood of District 6. Neighborhoods are selected by their district's Council members.
