Today, a meeting of the country's Security Council was held under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Chairman of the Security Council, Honorable Emomali Rahmon.
The meeting was attended by permanent members and members of the Security Council, heads of law enforcement agencies, military structures, heads of some republican ministries and departments, and employees of the Secretariat of the Security Council.
The meeting heard reports from the heads of law enforcement agencies and military structures on the activities of their bodies and structures in 2025.
Given the complex and rapidly changing situation in the world, the President of the country gave specific instructions to leaders and officials to ensure the security of the state and society, the rule of law, the fight against crime, the constant readiness of the Armed Forces, and improve the conditions of service and living of the personnel of military units and law enforcement officers.
The attention of the heads of bodies and structures was drawn to the elimination of existing shortcomings, especially in the area of committing official crimes and other violations of the law.
It was emphasized that decisive measures should be taken to protect the state border, prevent and combat terrorist and extremist crimes, drug trafficking and trafficking, and transnational organized crime.
Also, the heads of military structures were instructed to significantly strengthen their activities in the field of personnel training, their proper selection and placement, training of professionals in the use of modern equipment and technologies, the development of the country's defense industry, digitalization and ensuring the state's cyber security, as well as increasing the level of professionalism, patriotism, national sense, and strengthening the self-awareness of military personnel and law enforcement officers.
Relevant decisions were adopted on the issues discussed at the Security Council meeting.
