Competitive Power Ventures Cuts Ribbon on 114-MW Rogue’s Wind in Pennsylvania

Company expands footprint in PJM with third operating project in Cambria County.

PATTON, PA - OCTOBER 14, 2026 - Competitive Power Ventures (CPV) and investment partner Harrison Street Asset Management celebrated the official ribbon cutting of the CPV Rogue's Wind project, marking a major milestone in the company's continued investment in reliable, domestic energy infrastructure, and economic development.

CPV Rogue's Wind entered operations in July and is the company's third operating project in Cambria County, Pennsylvania, following CPV Maple Hill and CPV Fairview Energy Center.

During the ceremony, local elected officials and community leaders joined CPV officials to commemorate the completion of the wind facility and recognize the dedicatedworkers and organizations that helped bring the project to life.

"We commend the Commonwealth's 'all-of-the-above' approach to address energy demand. This project stands as a testament to what's possible when people work together to invest in their energy future," said Sheman Knight, CEO of CPV. "Alongside our existing natural gas-fired and solar facilities in the county, CPV Rogue's Wind underscores CPV's commitment to developing the diverse energy infrastructure needed to support growing demand while maintaining reliability, affordability, and sustainability."

CPV Rogue's Wind is the company's third renewable project that utilizes former coal mining land for renewable power generation. The project operates in partnership with private landowners and an active ATV park, Rock Run Recreation Area.

"At CPV, we advance renewable energy through a thoughtful development strategy that brings generation online where it can deliver the greatest value. By focusing on innovative project design with an emphasis on repurposing former coal mines, we are helping boost local communities while creating a more resilient energy landscape," said Mike Resca, EVP of CPV Renewable Power. "We want to thank officials from Chest Township - Cambria County and Chest Township - Clearfield County for their trust and ongoing support to make this project a reality."

As part of CPV's commitment to being active partners in the community and supportinglocal first responders, the company proudly donated $20,000 at the ribbon cutting to the Cambria County Regional Firefighters Association. The funds will support the organization's scholarship fund and local first responder education and training.

"We sincerely appreciate CPV's generous contribution and the team's ongoing commitment to the CCRFA. This support will help us further our mission and make a meaningful difference for first responders and their families," said Nick Wuckovich, Tuition Assistance Committee with CCRFA.

CPV Rogue's Wind will generate enough electricity annually to power 32,000 households.
