Cementir ranks among “Europe’s Climate Leaders” for the second consecutive year

Cementir has been included in the Europe's Climate Leaders 2025 ranking, which identifies the European companies most committed to tackling climate change. The list, compiled by the Financial Times in collaboration with the German research company Statista, includes 600 European companies that achieved the most significant reductions in Scope 1 and 2 CO₂ emissions intensity between 2018 and 2023.

In addition to emissions reduction performance, the selection also considers transparency on Scope 3 indirect emissions, CDP rating, and participation in the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

The 600 ranked companies, representing a wide range of industries, were selected from a pool of around 2,000 candidates.

Cementir inclusion in the Climate Leaders for the second consecutive year adds to other important recognitions, such as: A rating from CDP in Climate Change and A- in Water security.

This achievement confirms Cementir's ongoing commitment to the transition towards a low-carbon economy, in line with the Group's ESG goals and sustainability strategy.
