Northbound I-5 Connectors to SR-78 Closed Thursday, December 11

SAN DIEGO - Caltrans crews will close the northbound Interstate 5 (I-5) connector to eastbound and westbound State Route 78 (SR-78)/Vista Way on Thursday, December 11, from 10:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. to place new signage shields.

Northbound I-5 motorists may continue north and take the Oceanside Boulevard off-ramp, turn right to southbound I-5, and proceed to southbound I-5 to westbound SR-78/Vista Way.

Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.

The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
