Red Flag Warning

Critical fire weather will last through Wednesday, January 15, 2025, for portions of Los Angeles and Ventura counties, including major wildfire locations.

What to know:

• Strong winds in the coast and valleys at 25-40 mph and 30-45 mph in the mountains and foothills.
• Very dry air, leading to very critical fire weather conditions.

What to do:

• Register for VC Alert to receive emergency notifications
• Prepare for Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS) www.sce.com/PSPS.
• Be prepared: Charge electronics, keep a flashlight with extra batteries on hand, and bring belongings inside, such as lawn furniture, decorations, and garbage cans.

Report fallen trees or large branches to 805-667-6519. If you see downed power lines, call 911 immediately and stay clear of the area.
