The Goodman-LeGrand Museum will host its annual fundraiser, "All Things Gardening for Garden Lovers," during the Rose City Artisan and Flower Market on Friday, April 10, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, April 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The event will take place on the museum grounds at 624 N. Broadway Ave., where the outdoor market will feature a variety of plants, garden décor, and artisan goods. Inside the historic home, the annual Antique Quilt and Embroidery Exhibit will be on display, offering visitors a look at traditional craftsmanship.
Guests can also take part in guided garden tours led by the Smith County Master Gardeners, offered hourly from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day. Tours will highlight the plants historically grown by the Goodman family, the City's ongoing greenhouse restoration efforts, and the Master Gardeners' work to reintroduce heritage plants once found on the property.
The Goodman-LeGrand Museum will be open for tours during the event. Regular museum hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
A suggested $3 donation per visitor supports the museum's daily operations. All contributions are appreciated.
