FHLBank Boston Launches Disaster Relief Program
FHLBank Boston is pleased to announce the launch of the Disaster Relief Program to provide mortgage assistance to income-eligible homeowners and small businesses in New England impacted by state or federally declared disasters.
More About the Program
During a declared disaster, FHLBank Boston members holding or servicing mortgages for small businesses or homeowners with incomes at or below 100% of the area median income can submit requests for up to six months of mortgage assistance, with a maximum grant of $15,000 per recipient.
"Severe weather can devastate entire communities and cause severe hardships for local homeowners and small businesses that suffer damages. We are proud to offer this program to our members so they can support their communities when disaster strikes," said FHLBank Boston President and Chief Executive Officer Timothy J. Barrett.
