The FCC's Enforcement Bureau has issued a Notice of Violation to Agustin Cano, owner of antenna structure number #1061507 in Fort Worth, for infractions of the FCC's regulations concerning antenna structures.
On April 4, 2024, an agent of the Enforcement Bureau's Dallas Office conducted an inspection of the tower and observed the "top beacon light was extinguished and the Antenna Structure's paint was faded."
The FCC agent also found that Cano had "failed to file the required Notice to Air Missions (NOTAM) with the FAA, and, as a result, no NOTAM had been issued for the Antenna Structure."
The FCC subsequently requested that a NOTAM be issued for the tower.
Additionally, the FCC said after acquiring the tower, Cano failed to notify the FCC of the change in ownership.
It has asked Cano to submit a written statement concerning this matter to fully explain each violation, including all relevant surrounding facts and circumstances. The communication must contain "a statement of the specific action(s) taken to correct each violation and preclude recurrence," and "must include a timeline for completion of any pending corrective action(s)."
