Governor Gianforte Solicits Public Comment on Eleventh Judicial District Judge Applicant

HELENA, Mont. - Governor Greg Gianforte today announced he is seeking public comment on an applicant to fill the impending vacancy in the Eleventh Judicial District (Flathead County).
Members of the public can provide letters of support or other comments regarding the applicant through Friday, October 30, 2026, at 5 p.m.
The governor has received an application from the following attorney, whose application may be found at nominatejudges.mt.gov :
Members of the public should submit letters or other comments by email to [email protected] or by mail to Attn: Caitlin Wagoner, Governor's Office, PO Box 200801, Helena, Montana 59620.
Letters or other comments submitted will be publicly available and posted at nominatejudges.mt.gov. Applicants must receive at least three letters of support to be considered for appointment by the governor.
